F.A.Q.

Q: How do you deal with writer’s block?
A: I don't remember which author said it, but it's advice I've tried to live by. Have multiple projects going at the same time. When you get stuck on one switch to another, that way you're still being productive, and with any luck you may get inspiration from your own work.
Q: What’s the best thing about being a writer?
A: Living inside your own world....ironically that's also the worst part about being a writer.
Q: What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
A: The world is full of critics, not all of them will like your work, some will even hate it. That is okay. Keep submitting your work until you find someone who loves it, because you eventually will. Think of it this way, if just 1/2 of 1% of the population falls in love with your work then you will be set for life.
Q: What are you currently working on?
A: Power Spreads, the second book in "The Ways of Power"
Q: How do you get inspired to write?
A: Inspiration comes from experiencing life. It can come from a name, the way a bird sings to you in the morning, in a picture, from an overheard conversation. The important thing is to pay attention to the world around you, and when an idea strikes don't let it go.
Q: Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
A: I'm not entirely sure to be honest. It just sort of hit me when I was about 17, it rolled around in my head for half my life, and then one day I just started writing. Then I couldn't stop...
